Coaching for Business, Achieving for Life

Coaching

What did you want to be when you were a kid?  Did you grow up wanting to be a doctor, lawyer, nurse, fireman, the president, forest ranger, teacher, farmer, banker, or ?

Now that you are remembering what you wanted to be when you grew up, do you still want to do it? Has your dream changed a bit? Is this what you are doing now professionally?  Have you ever worked in this occupation you once dreamt of having?

If you haven’t, what happened to this dream? Have you put it on hold until _____ (fill in the blank: you have more money, have more time, the kids get older, etc.)?  Or did you think it impractical?  Or was it your spouse,  family, or friends who thought it impractical?

If you gave your dream a go at one time, but are no longer living it, what took you away?  Did you find it wasn’t the love you thought it would be? Did practical concerns overtake your dream? What happened?

I don’t discount the magnitude of these questions. They are all of great importance to your professional fulfillment and career aspirations.   There are many reasons, issues and situations that occurred that have shaped who you are today.  What has remained is your lingering dream, or maybe a new dream, which stirs within you.  It stirs for many reasons; maybe you want to realize it or maybe you would like to incorporate it into your life going forward.

I ask you to consider these questions because you, as a leader in the workplace (yes, we are all leaders in our own workplace), are searching for answers in yourself about your career and your life, are looking for a new way to execute and achieve your goals, or are trying to go farther than you have before but aren’t sure how as the old rules don’t apply anymore.

That is where I would like to be – with you. My goal is you, to join in your efforts to achieve positive and lasting change in behavior toward your continued success as a leader.

I look forward to hearing from you so that we can partner and move you forward, from dreams to reality and ideas to action.

Some comments made by recent clients:

– Anissa is extremely caring. She really wants you to succeed by thinking and moving toward the future. Be prepared to be challenged and to be reflective.  This is not an idle process, nor one to take on lightly. If you want change, she will work with you to achieve it.

– I love how compassionate she is.  It is evident each and every time we talk.

– I tried one other coach prior to Anissa. The other coach was fine but I stumbled on Anissa through a friend who had worked with her. Anissa’s calm, supportive style was very helpful for me in my situation.

– If I had only two words to describe Anissa I would use loving and positive.  She really cares about you.

– If you want to feel like the center of someone’s world and that no one else matters but you, then Anissa is the coach for you.  She is fully there with you, all the way, challenging and supporting you without an agenda of her own. Which for me was great cause my husband had his own thoughts on what I should do at work!
